Week beginning Monday 30th April
This week sees us heading off to Detling for our Farming World trip. This is always a fantastic trip with lots to see and do so pray for nice weather on Thursday as it isn't such a nice trip when it is wet and muddy!
As we are out on Thursday there will be a few changes to our timetable. Children will have computing and music on Wednesday afternoon so they do not miss out on these creative lessons.
We are continuing with poetry in English but really focussing on grammar and punctuation as a huge portion of children are still not using even capital letters and full stops consistently!
Maths continues with fractions but adding and subtracting them this time. Mrs Hutchings will be joining us for maths on Monday!
We continue with Islam in RE, Ancient Greece in History and we should get the last of the photo frames home and evaluate our work in DT.
Congratulations to Sadie and Harriet who are our Pupils of the Week this week, well done girls and the Koalas are our table winners again, all girls!
Please ensure children have appropriate footwear for the weather for Thursday and a packed lunch. Extra drink would be useful too if it hot but your child will need to carry their own rucksack. It is school uniform so we can identify the children easily.
