I hope you have all had a good rest because we will all need lots of energy for this busy term!
We'd like to welcome you all back to what will be a jam-packed term!
Our maths lessons this week will focus on 3D shapes and 'Missing Number' calculations. Vocabulary will include corners, vertices, surfaces, faces, edges and inverse.
Our English lessons will be dedicated to the power of reading and how we can use different skills to express our understanding.
In Geography we will be embracing the predicted heat wave by going on safari to compare England to a non-European country.
Science will take us to the animal world to find out why they choose their habitats.
Yellow R and Yellow S will be combining forces in PE this term. We loved our joint aerobics sessions last term and can't wait to start learning our May Day dances together.
We will be exploring the religion of Hinduism through our RE lessons, focusing on symbols and celebrations.
Please find new reading and spelling challenge charts in your child's Contact Book. We are so pleased with the enthusiasm shown by members from both Yellow classes! We are starting to see improvement in spelling during independent tasks! Keep it up!
