Week beginning Monday January 8th 2018
A little early for Monday but I thought I would write our blog now before we get back into the madness of work!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and new year and that you managed to enjoy some rest. I would firstly like to thank you all for the wonderful Christmas gifts. You are, as always, extremely generous and I really appreciate it.
We hit the ground running on Monday with Krindlekrax for English, I hope you managed to get hold of a copy, as said as I do/did have a few spares, come of these have been requested so there are only 2 left. THis really is fantastic book for year 3 English skills and the children, in the past, have always come on leaps and bounds in their English through this story.
Maths moves back on to multiplication, this time focussing on the methods as the children have hopefully secured their times tables.
Our Geography theme is Volcanoes - another popular theme.
RE is parables.
This is quite a short term and we have Arts Week to look forwards to as well.
I am looking forward to seeing all the children back on Thursday 4th!
