It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas......
As always, the school diary is packed with Christmas events - make sure that these events are in your diary:
The festive season started last Thursday with the Christmas Gifts' room - well done to the PTA for organising another successful event. Now that we have almost 300 children in school, it means over 600 presents to purchase and wrap - quite a feat!
The first nativity performance is on Tuesday morning this week (Yellow R and Orange A) and it is swiftly followed by the PTA organised Christmas bazaar on Wednesday evening (5pm to 8pm) - hopefully many families will come along to support this event which is a great fund raiser for the school. On Friday morning it is the turn of yellow S and Orange S to perform their nativity to parents. The children have been working really hard learning their lines and are all looking forward to performing.
All classes have also been busy producing Christmas trees for the Tunstall Church Christmas Tree Festival at the end of the week. Please try to find the time to pop up to the church to take a look, as the range of trees is always fantastic.
The fun continues next week (w/c 11th December) with a trip to the Marlowe Theatre for Keystage 2 to watch Peter Pan while the Red classes perform their nativities on Thursday (Red B) and Friday (Red M).
Meanwhile glitter is being spread throughout the school -sorry Sue and Darren - it must be those pesky elves.....
