Don't forget your sun-cream!
We are having a great time at the seaside! We have learnt a little about how trips to the seaside have changed since Queen Victoria's reign and enjoyed writing postcards after we planned our own trip to the beach.
This week we will move on from letter writing to instructions. We will make pretend ice-creams and sun decorations then write our own instructions using imperative verbs and commands.
In maths we will be looking at estimation and partitioning as well as rehearsing related skills through games. A really fun way to learn!
On Tuesday this week we have a non-uniform day to raise money for the dreadful fire in London last week. Please donate £1 (or what ever you can give) for your child to wear their own clothes for the day.
Also, on Thursday we will have another non-uniform day to raise money for our school fete.
