Week beginning 22nd May
So, here we are, another last week of term, so expect the usual assessments in reading and GPS. We are, though, slightly ahead of ourselves as writing, science and spelling for most children is done and dusted.
Thank you to those of you who were able to join in with our geography and maths learning last week. The children really do enjoy letting you into ‘their world’ and sharing their learning.
The main event this week is obviously our May Day celebrations on Wednesday. We have all been working hard on our dance, although I don’t actually think we have had a full class at any of our practises so far. Let’s hope for a full house on the day.
Thursday will be a DT day, as I hope to complete our scrapbook page on our fears, and also the musical instrument we planned last week. The children know what materials we have at school, and have been tasked with bringing in anything else they require to complete these two projects.
Congratulations to Oliver, who received our behaviour award last week.
