Lots to do as we enter the penultimate week of the term!
This week we will be finishing off our work on plants in Science by looking at the lifecycle of flowers and observing how much our plants have grown. We will be staying with the horticultural theme in English by using Jack and the Beanstalk as the basis for learning '-ly' adjectives.
In Maths we shall be returning to money - rather than buying and selling beans as Jack did we will be recapping the coins we learnt before Christmas and introducing some new ones. We will also learn how to find the correct amount using coins and have a go at buying items in our class 'shops'.
In Geography we are continuing to learn about the United Kingdom and in RE we find out about the story of David and Goliath. We will also be making the finishing touches to the cards we have been creating using Microsoft Publisher.
On Thursday this week we will be having a visit from Kent Fire to learn about how to stay safe when there is a risk of fire.
All of this plus practicing our Easter song ready for our Easter service on the last day of term.
