This week we continue our learning inspired by 'The Naughty Bus' and celebrate Pancake Day and World Book Day!

This week we will continue our work based around the Naughty Bus. We will start the week by exploring different types of coins and discussing how we use them to pay for things- especially bus tickets!

On Tuesday we will find out about the beginning of Lent and celebrate Pancake Day by making our own pancakes and trying out some different, healthy toppings!

Both Red Classes are very lucky to be having a PE Teacher to come in and teach us some gymnastics over the next four weeks- focussing on landings and developing core strength. We look forward to starting these sessions on Tuesday afternoon.

Thursday is World Book Day and we are really looking forward to seeing all of the wonderful costumes! Not only will we be dressing up but we will also celebrate the day by starting to write our own stories.

On Friday we will get to browse the books at the book fair in the hall- this will also be available after school between 3pm-4pm in the Small Hall.

We will continue to introduce new digraphs in our Phonics lessons this week. We will learn 'ar', 'or' and 'er'. We will also the new Tricky Word 'you'.

We look forward to a busy and exciting week!
